Biography

Dr. Henry-Fields demonstrates her leadership roles as an entrepreneur, mentor, and keynote speaker. Joan owns several businesses, including Out In The Fields, LLC., "RESA Incorporated," a 501c (3) organization providing services to women and girls in disadvantaged socio-economic circumstances. Joan founded the WEE Global Network. For over 15 years, she has worked diligently to host the Women's Entrepreneur Expo, serving women and girls locally and internationally with the tools and resources to connect, learn, and start their businesses. 

Dr. Henry-Fields possesses strong business acumen coupled with structure and discipline, guiding her business and personal life. As a business leader, she is respected for her integrity, dedication, and intellect. As a mentor and keynote speaker, she is known for her ability to inspire, motivate, empower, and impact the lives of women of all ages by sharing tips and strategies to radically shift their mindset to what is possible for them now and in the future, moving beyond fear, procrastination, self-sabotage, and any other roadblocks that will affect their growth. Dr. Henry-Fields's academic accomplishments include a Doctoral degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Henry-Fields has received Mayoral recognition from the State of Maryland as a community influencer.

Dr. Henry-Fields's professional affiliations include Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority (Zeta Tau Sigma Chapter), the International Business Honors Society, the World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD), the National Association of Professional Women, and the Chimes International Advisory Council (Virginia and Maryland), the Jamaica Nationals Association, and a Multicultural Commissioner in Prince Georges County, Maryland, under the State's Attorney, Aisha Braveboy.
